Hippo Card

Ok, this may be my new FAVORITE card!  I love how this adorable hippo, from Create-A-Critter, totally makes you smile, just by looking at it!  I used a blue card base, and added a border on blue cardstock with Martha Stewart's Doily Lace punch.  Above the border, I adhered a piece of light blue patterned ribbon.  I stamped a flourish in the upper left-hand corner with SU's Blue Bayou, as well as the sentiment "giggle", in the lower right-hand corner.
Finally, I added the grass and water for the hippo, then popped the hippo up on foam dots.  Before adhering the hippo, I added dots and dashes with a white gel pen, and gave the hippo pink cheeks and a smile, with a pink gel pen.  ~Hoppy Crafting!
