Here are some fun designs that I came up with, while playing with my first Paper Pumpkin kit!
I love this new Coastal Cabana cardstock! I needed a quick wedding card recently, and decided that this would have enough 'pop' to do the trick! I hope you like it!
Here's the recipe:
Mr. & Mrs. stamp
Papaya Collage stamp set (leaves on Coastal Cabana cardstock stamped in VersaMark)
Coastal Cabana cardstock (base)
Whisper White (oval cut with the Oval Collection Framelits and embossed with Perfect Polka Dots)
Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder
Smoky Slate ink pad
VersaMark ink pad (stamped background image on Coastal Cabana cardstock)
Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper (strip under oval)
Silver Glimmer Paper (punched with the Bitty Butterfly 3x)
Tea Lace Paper Doilies (behind the DSP and Oval)
Dimensionals (popping up oval)
I'm SO excited for the Stampin' Up Convention! I signed up for a couple of swaps, and this is what I made for the Christmas Card Swap! Sorry I didn't get a better pic, I had them all packaged and ready to pack, then realized I didn't take a pic!
Here's the recipe:
Backyard Basics Stamps and Framelits (bird)
Lovely As A Tree (pine trees)
Midnight Muse cardstock (base)
Whisper White cardstock (layer, torn snow, and oval w/greeting)
Silver Glimmer Paper (left edge)
Midnight Muse ink pad (sponged on oval and used for sentiment)
Staz-on Jet Black ink (bird)
Old Olive ink pad (trees)
Read Red Stampin' Write Marker (bird)
Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker (bird)
Scallop Edge Border Punch (on silver glimmer paper)
Large Oval (sentiment)
Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons
Natural Linen Thread (through faceted button)
Dimensionals (bird and oval)
I made these two fun clipboards for my upline and I to use during the upcoming Stampin' Up Convention. For the top one, I use the new Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper, and for the bottom (because Deb's favorite colors are pink and brown), I used the brown from the new Sweater Weather DSP and pink from retired Sparkles and Sprinkles DSP.
These boards were super easy to make! I inked the edges, and then used Mod-Podge to adhere the gorgeous papers. I used the torn paper technique to add each layer. I also ended up using about three coats of Mod-Podge over the tops to seal them. I decorated the backs, as well, and finished off the tops with coordinating ribbon and a loop to hold a pen (sorry, no pic! Packed them and forgot!....soooo much to do to prepare for convention!). I think they'll work well!
Kindergarten teacher by day, and self-proclaimed crafting nightowl. I enjoy long walks with my Gypsy, iced mochas, and salivate over the newest papers, embellishments, Stampin' Up products, and Cricut cartridges available. While I LOVE my job as a kindergarten teacher, I need a creative outlet in my downtime. For me, this comes in the form of scrapbooking, cardmaking, cake decorating, and other miscellaneous crafts. I am a woman who is forever 29. Artist. Married with furry and slimy children (cats, dogs, & fish). And, in case you can't tell by the blog name, I'm obsessed with frogs. :o) I'm ready to try new things...let's see where this journey takes me!
