Valentine Treat Bags
Happy Valentine's Day to all! I put 50 of these cute little treat bags together for my kindergartners! I found the small paper bags at Target, and filled them with a fruit snack, mini-eraser, and mini-notepad. I topped each off with the Top Note Sizzix die (from Stampin' Up), which were stamped using the hearts from the SU Sheltering Tree set. I also stamped a heart from "Love Matters" and "Made From Scratch" on a white circle, and mounted it on a larger red circle. These were used to cover the staple in the middle of the bag to protect my kiddos from sharp staple ends. Though I tried to keep the project pretty straight forward, it ended up taking me approximately two hours to punch, stamp, stuff, staple, and adhere everything. I know they will be ripped apart with little appreciation, BUT, at least I got to "get my craft on". :o) ~Hoppy Crafting!

Happy Birthday Flower-To Distress or NOT to Distress?
I did it again. I used Stampin' Up's Build a Blossom stamp set and punch to make some more cards! I had a request from a friend of mine, to make some in a particular color scheme (green/pink), and I love how they turned out! Textured cardstock is from DCWV The Midnight Spell stack. I used the diamond Sizzix embossing folder to add dimension to the background, and used my sanding tool to distress the top one, but left the other "normal". I used pink cardstock with SU Pixie Pink ink to stamp the petals from the Build A Blossom set, then punched them out. For the center and sentiment, I used Wild Wasabi ink, and sentiments from a birthday stamp from StampCraft, and SU Sincere Salutations.
